Palau
In Palau, cultivated land is found primarily along the coastal areas where there was rich soil. Most of the farms are run by family
labor. Banana, occupying approximately two square kilometres of farm land follows fruit and betel nut production while occupying a larger area of production than
cassava, taro and vegetables according to a report on the current agricultural situation published in 2021 by Yin Yin Nwe, Ryo Suzuki and Hajime Sugimura.
