Indian Adventure Jaipur Jal Mahal The Jal Mahal or "Water Palace" was built on Man Sagar Lake in the middle eighteenth century by Madho Singh I. Memories of the time spent at the Lake Palace in Udaipur during his youth inspired the design of this palace which became a resort for royal duck-hunting parties.
