Hachiko Monument

Hachiko is an akita dog that became famous for faithfully showing up at Shibuya train station for a decade after the death of his master in May of 1925. The monument was erected in 1964. Hachiko also features prominently in a mosaic outside the "Hachiko Entrance" to Shibuya Station.
