Day 6 - Wednesday, February 6, 2019
Ngorongoro to Mbugani Migration Camp

We had the good fortune to see a black rhino quite early during our game drive on the crater floor.

One of the most dramatic sights observed in N'gorogoro Crater was a wildebeest giving birth.

Day 6 ended at our first actual tent accommodation at the Mbugani Migration Camp on the border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park. Although the wilderness setting looked promising, we didn't see wildlife in the camp as we had at Maramboi

Although we didn't see any game in the camp, we were warned to call for an escort from our tent to the dining hall after dark. This area overlooking Lake Ndutu and nearby Lake Masek was alive with game and lions would be found a short drive from camp.
