I woke up and drove on to the Five Finger Rapids look-off where I stopped to make myself a pancake breakfast. It was another beautiful morning and I hiked down to the side of the rapids before getting back in the car to return to Whitehorse where I camped at the Robert Service campground just east of downtown. That afternoon I wandered around downtown marvelling in the changes. I took the tour of the S.S. Klondike, a sternwheeler which has been restored since the last time I saw it being dragged from the White Pass shipyards to its present site in the late 1960's.

I visited the Transportation Museum which was the R.C.A.F. Rec Hall when I remember playing floor hockey in it and the Beringia Museum which was, I think, bushland in my Whitehorse days.
