It was great to wake up in the morning to see the
surf of the Atlantic Ocean outside our patio door.

The small scale complex is located right on the beach;
a buoy and an old fishing boat mark the edge of the property.

A shipwreck just offshore marks the location of the reef
indicating the limit of the shallow waters surrounding the island.

We had the beach to ourselves -- or
almost to ourselves -- most of the time.
