Low value of Aitutaki's 1974 U.P.U. Centenary Commemoratives
Many countries issued commemoratives to recognize the Universal Postal Union's centenary in 1974. On July 15, Aitutaki issued 25 and 50 cent commemoratives and a souvenir sheet. The design shows a map of Aitutaki's lagoon and images of early New Zealand definitives that were overprinted for use in Aitutaki.
