The three cent denomination of the Barbados marine life definitives issued on July 15, 1965 depicted a sea horse which was described as Hippocanpus in latin. When the issue was reprinted in 1967 with a sideways watermark the spelling error was corrected with a caption in latin reading Hippocampus.
