25th Anniversary of the
Insurrection of Independence Commemoratives
On April 20, 1901 Bulgaria issued two stamps depicting a cherry wood cannon to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the insurrection that led to its independence. The inscription "CTOT" is an abbreviation for "stotinki" which is currency in which the stamps are denominated. There are 100 stotinki in 1 lev.
