One Anna Definitive of 1917-1918.
Nepal issued its first stamps in 1881 but they were limited to domestic use. Indian stamps were used on international mail until Nepal joined the Universal Postal Union in 1959. This stamp is one of two designs used on official mail and to prepay telegrams during a shortage current stamps in 1917-1918.
