Shennu Stream
Shennu Stream is a creek extending 15 kilometers between Qingshi Town and Feifeng Peak. Due to rapids, the narrow width of the gorge and its shallow depth, 10 kilometers of the stream were seldom visited by tourists until the construction of the Three Gorges Dam made the creek more readily navigable enabling visitors to explore the upper reaches of the stream. Now the beautiful scenery of Shennu Stream, formerly known by only a few photographers, is a highlight of a Yangtze River Cruise.
