Shanghai

Yu Garden was built in 1559 as the private garden of Pan Yunduan, the administrative commissioner of Sichuan Province. An excellent example of a classical Chinese garden, its architectural features include a naturally hollowed jade boulder, a giant rockery, a network of ponds and streams, and extensive galleries and observation points.
