Bicycle outside the Forbidden City
Although the expected crowds were encountered in Tianamen Square and at the entrance to tourist attractions such as the Forbidden City, there were also pleasant places to walk such as this road between the moat and the wall around the Forbidden City, through the hutongs and down many of Beijing's tree lined streets.
