Xian's army of terra cotta warriors are the guardians of the massive burial complex of Ying Zheng. View the documentary The First Emperor of China on YouTube to find out about Ying Zheng who created the first centralized feudal empire in Chinese history in 221 BC when he established the short-lived Qin Dynasty (221 BC - 206 BC). As the first emperor of a united state, he named himself Qin Shi Huang (the first emperor of Qin).
