Frigate Bird in Flight
Frigate birds often soared above the San Jose as we cruised between the islands.

Nesting Frigate Bird
The frigate birds, who cannot dive to catch fish or obtain other food, survive by
harrassing other seabirds until they drop their prey which the frigate birds then grab.

Nesting Frigate Bird
The male frigate bird attracts the female by puffing up the bright reddish sack beneath his beak.
