"Dear Doctor" Postcard Depicting Vaduz Castle
As part of a promotional campaign for sodium pentathol, Abbott Laboratories sent post cards from exotic settings around the world to physicians around the world. This example, postmarked May 28, 1958 is franked with the 10 rappen Christmas stamp issued on December 16 of the previous year. The image on the front is Vaduz Castle, the primary residence of the Princely family of Liechtestein. The image on the stamp is the Chapel of St. Mamertus in Triesen.
