The waters off the Pinacle Rock on Bartolome seemed particularly frigid but they
teemed with interesting fish including this porcupine fish (Diodon hystrix)

White-Tipped Reef Sharks
White-tipped reef sharks swim in the shallows of a Bartolome beach.

Sea Lion and Marine Iguanas

A young sea lion and marine iguanas sharing the beach on Bartolome.

American Oystercatcher

American oystercatchers (Haematopus palliatus) can be seen on the rocky shoreline of Bartolome.

Galapagos Penguins

Endangered Galapagos penguins (Spheniscus mendiculus) are spotted during a panga ride around Bartolome.
