A pre-breakfast hike up a steep boardwalk rewards the traveller with a magnificent view of Bartolome with Santiago in the background.
The waters off the Pinacle Rock on Bartolome seemed particularly frigid but they
teemed with interesting fish including this porcupine fish (Diodon hystrix)
White-tipped reef sharks swim in the shallows of a Bartolome beach.
